Film and Digital

"Wonderful talent...an atmosphere of great joy" Ben Wheatley, film director

Only 5% of people working in the UK film industry have a disability. Our film and digital programme, Oska Bright, is working to make change happen.

Working internationally with industry partners and funded by the BFI, our team produces the BAFTA qualifying Oska Bright Film Festival, promotes accessible screenings, runs training for venues and develops skills for aspiring filmmakers.

Bringing faces of learning disabled people to the big screen

Since 2004, Oska Bright Film Festival has been changing the film exhibition landscape. We bring groundbreaking, bold and brilliant film to worldwide audiences. The festival reaches thousands of people a year, from all over the world.

“Collaborations with …Oska Bright…recognise the power of film to create change and highlight injustices and inequalities within the industry and society as a whole.” - Rich Warren, Encounters Film Festival
